Intercessory Prayers

Flowers this morning are given by Jen Longley in memory of her grandmother, Edna M. Longley.

Please hold in your prayers: All those impacted by the wildfires in California, those wounded in the Las Vegas shooting and the medical professionals and first responders who attended them, the victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose, and Maria, Kimberly DeShon, Dana, Helen Hutchinson, Bimla Sager, Agnes DeFeo, Sarita Hmamly, Bishop Larry Provenzano, Trisha Spina, Pramella Vissa, Beverly Sims, Ruth Tatum, Clyde Mahoney, Lisa Osborne, Michael Sperl, Ernst Haering, Bernie Ryan, Shari Mercatante, Ralph Tremonte, Kevin Kidd, Denise Edwards, Phyllis Jackson, Elyse Gierlich, Michael Hausler, Mary Owens, The Rev. Mitties DeChamplain, Samuel Akhtar, Aida Carino, Anetta Giovanna, Jan Thompson, Jay Moses, Thomas O’Connor, Harold Cronk, Waine Kniffen, Don Lundquist, Peter Walsh, The Rev. Canon Claudia Wilson, and Wayne Kempton. We pray for those impacted by terrorist attacks and for our President, our country, our first responders, and all refugees and immigrants.
                 

Deceased: We pray for The Rev. Rudolph P.F. Ressmeyer, Leroy Daniel, for all who have died in the wildfires in California and in the Las Vegas shooting, Priscilla Roberts LeFurgy, Robert Mosher, Tom Sullivan, Dr. Joe Walsh, for those who died from Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose, and Maria, and for all the world over who have died from terrorist attacks, war and natural disasters, including the earthquakes in Mexico.

We thank you especially for this neighborhood of Getty Square, for all who live and work here, for all who come here for goods and services, for those who are homeless and hungry, for the Sharing Community, Salvation Army, YWCA and the YMCA, and all who work to help others. We pray for healing for those who struggle with addictions, and physical and mental handicaps.  May we be blessed with compassion and love, and may this Congregation be the hands and feet of Christ in Getty Square.
